Cal Pools performs both Pool Openings and Pool Closings. Our standard fee for either a Pool Opening or a Pool Closing is $350. We recommend calling to schedule your Pool Opening by April (if possible), as our schedule fills up quickly. Pool Closings should be scheduled by September. Listed below are what each service entails.

Pool Opening:
Includes removing and rinsing off cover, partial cleaning of pool (10 to 15 minutes of leaf raking), priming and starting equipment, addition of appropriate chemicals (included), brushing of walls, hosing off deck area and providing a general condition report. This is NOT a pool cleaning. Pool cleanings are scheduled separately and priced according to the condition of the pool and number of visits required to complete the job.

Pool Closing:
Includes adding antifreeze to skimmer areas, adding appropriate closing chemicals, blowing or draining the lines as required, installing all required plugs, cleaning the filter and installing the safety cover. Additional charges may apply for water bag covers.
